Why Should I Become a Member?

  • Help further scientific advancement and innovation by investing in emerging scientists and their inspiring work. Members provide funding and work together on committees. Members have opportunities to engage with ARCS Scholar scientists and leadership at top Northern California universities.
  • Expand your knowledge by attending interesting ARCS speaking engagements, field trips and visits to our partner universities.
  • Join an incredible community of women who want to make a difference to the future through supporting scientific research and innovation. Supporting young scientists in their research is a rewarding experience for members.

How Do I Become a Member?

Each spring ARCS NCC welcomes a group of new members. Prospective members are encouraged to attend membership meetings and events before applying so they can learn about ARCS and meet members. ARCS membership is by invitation, and each candidate has a sponsor and a co-sponsor from the membership.
