Special Event September 9 - ARCS & QB3

We are delighted to invite you to attend a special event co-sponsored by the Northern California Chapter of ARCS Foundation and QB3, on September 9th from 5:30-8:00pm at Byers Auditorium, Genentech Hall, on the Mission Bay campus of UCSF.

The program includes a presentation by Matt Richtel, a Pulitzer Prize-winning science writer for the New York Times, about his recently published book, “An Elegant Defense: the Extraordinary New Science of the Immune System,” followed by a panel discussion and Q&A with the audience. A reception following the program will provide an opportunity for continued dialogue. It promises to be an exceptional opportunity to be brought up-to-date on this fascinating area of medical research.

Seating in Byers Auditorium is limited and registration is required; a charge of $50 per person will guarantee your seat. Please see details about the evening and register for this event here.  And forward this invitation to friends and colleagues who are curious about science!

ARCS Foundation is a national organization of women that provides financial awards to young scientists at the seed stage of their research. QB3 is a University of California organization that supports entrepreneurs with training, laboratory space, partnering opportunities, and fellowships.
