Where Scholars Are the Stars

This ARCS Foundation Northern California Chapter (NCC) signature event supports the ARCS mission while celebrating ARCS Scholars as emerging scientists, raising the visibility of their cutting-edge research, and providing them with public speaking opportunities. SUPERNOVA provides supporters of ARCS Scholars with interesting and educational opportunities to interact with them.

The 83 ARCS NCC Scholars for the current academic year are US citizens selected from 100 departments at the seven universities that are our academic partners: San Francisco State University, Stanford University, and the University of California campuses at Berkeley, Davis, Merced, San Francisco and Santa Cruz.

Please join us for a Cocktail Dinner Buffet Celebration on Monday, April 17, 2023 from 6:00 - 9:00 pm at The University Club of California, 800 Powell Street, San Francisco. (Rideshare, taxi, or limousine transportation is encouraged. Public parking on Nob Hill is available at the Fairmont Hotel, Grace Cathedral, of the Masonic Garage.)

You will have the option to participate in one or two 30-minute round tables focused on 'current-interest' STEM topics, moderated by industry and academic reps and featuring ARCS NCC Scholars as panelists.  Stroll among the scholars’ research posters and chat with them about the amazing discoveries they are pursuing. Learn from and network with ARCS Scholars, science educators, and innovators.

Celebrate the next generation of change-makers!
